Expungements- My second favorite thing

Most of the time when people come to a lawyer, it’s because everything has gone wrong and often, it is at the lowest time of their lives. For the longest time, I thought that because of this, the only happy thing attorneys in my line of practice got to do for people was adoptions. Then I discovered expungement law. I wrote about it here.

By using Missouri’s new expungement law, we can erase someone’s criminal history if they meet certain qualifications. This is particularly exciting for old crimes related to marijuana, many of which are considered careers now.
